Physician Needed for our Medical Weight Loss Clinic-Comprehensive, team-oriented medical clinic seeking a caring and sensitive MD to provide care for patients undergoing a medically-supervised weight loss program.Responsibilities include performing history and physical examinations on new patients, interaction with the staff, review of labs, and brief visits with the patients.Our clinic is fast-paced at times with plenty of opportunities to talk with patients during slower times. Weight loss-specific training is provided on the job and is easy and satisfying. Most patients lose weight, eliminate many of their medications, and are happy with their weight loss. Aesthetic Health & Weight loss providers serve in a specialty role and are not expected to provide full primary care for these patients.Established in 2018 Aesthetic Health & Weight Loss is Covingtons premier program for medically managing the disease of obesity. We are an independent specialty practice. Based on MD-supervised weight loss accompanied by long-term behavioral care, our program is designed to achieve life-long results for patients in the greatest need. Aesthetic Health & Weight Loss is truly a rewarding place to work. Patients come to us severely overweight, with numerous obesity-related illnesses, and on many medications. Within a short time, they have weaned off their medications, and those who complete the entire program experience excellent success in maintaining a healthy weight for their lifetime.The entire team is focused on managing the disease of obesity. Kentucky License/DEA LicenseHours- Tuesday-Friday 9-5 pm and every other Saturday from 8:30 am-1 pm ( May occasionally work later in evening 1 x month)
