Human Resources ManagerCincinnati Country Day School is seeking an experienced and highly organized human resources manager to oversee the school's human resources administration and support a positive, professional employee experience across the organization. The HR manager will work closely with school leadership and employees to administer benefits, maintain employee records, support onboarding and offboarding, manage employment documentation, and help ensure compliance with school policies and applicable requirements. The ideal candidate is a trusted, service-oriented professional who exercises sound judgment, maintains confidentiality, communicates clearly, and brings strong attention to detail to a broad range of human resources responsibilities.Job ResponsibilitiesAssess, implement, maintain, and communicate school employee policies and proceduresMaintain accurate and confidential personnel files and employee recordsServe as the primary liaison with the school's benefits broker and support the administration of employee benefit programsManage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and consistent experience for employeesMaintain and monitor required teaching, staff, and athletic coaching licenses and related documentationPrepare annual staff and athletic stipend employment contracts and letters of employmentGenerate and maintain employee benefit rosters and census informationCoordinate and process benefit premium paymentsMaintain the school's retirement program roster and related employee informationMonitor and support regulatory compliance related to school employment policies and benefit programsRespond promptly to employee questions regarding human resources policies, benefits, employment documentation, and related mattersPartner with the CFO and school leadership on human resources matters and other employee-related initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferredPrevious professional experience in human resources, benefits administration, employee relations, or a related areaKnowledge of human resources practices, employee benefits, recordkeeping, and employment-related compliance requirementsAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgmentExcellent organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach to working with employees at all levels of the schoolAbility to manage multiple priorities and recurring annual processes with accuracy and appropriate follow-throughProficiency with standard office technology and human resources or benefits administration systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCompensationSalary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
