Senior Project Manager ServiceNow

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager/Leader with extensive experience in ServiceNow and a strong understanding of financial systems within the public sector. This role involves managing complex IT projects, leading offshore teams, and ensuring successful delivery of initiatives that enhance service delivery and financial operations for public sector clients in Ontario. Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives involving ServiceNow implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
• Manage financial systems projects aligned with Ontario public sector policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore delivery centers.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of offshore development and support teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Monitor project risks and issues; implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and public sector clients through status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with Ontario government standards, procurement rules, and data privacy regulations.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT, preferably in the public sector.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects.
• Knowledge of public sector financial systems, budgeting, and reporting processes in Ontario or other Canadian jurisdictions.
• Strong track record of successfully managing offshore development teams.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification.
• ITIL certification, particularly focused on ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM).
• Experience working with Ontario government ministries, agencies, or Crown corporations.
• Knowledge of public procurement processes and vendor management.

Special Considerations:

• Compliance with Ontario government standards, procurement rules, and data privacy regulations is mandatory.
• Coordination and management of offshore teams require effective communication across time zones.
• Hybrid work environment with up to 3 days onsite per week.

• Hybrid work schedule allowing up to three days onsite weekly.
• May require coordination with offshore teams across different time zones.
