Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and adjust care plans accordingly for patients with cardiac needs.
• Administer medications and manage titratable drips such as cardizem, amio, nitro, and more.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists and respiratory therapists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform nursing duties such as ADLs, vital signs monitoring, and patient repositioning.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans and progress.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license to practice in the state of West Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in managing and titrating cardiac drips and monitoring cardiac equipment.
• Ability to interpret EKG readings and effectively respond to changes in patient status.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multidisciplinary coordination of patient care.
