92Y Unit Supply Specialist - Warehouse Manager

Unit Supply Specialist – Army National Guard As a Unit Supply Specialist, you will ensure that your unit and fellow soldiers are well supplied and equipped for any mission. Responsibilities Oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of Army National Guard equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies. Ensure all documents are prepared and organized. Maintain automated systems. Secure and control weapons and ammunition. Schedule and provide maintenance for weapons. Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas. Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons. Operate unit‑level computers. Training & Development You will receive 10 weeks of Basic Training focused on basic soldiering skills, followed by eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training. During AIT, you will learn classroom and field skills in simulated combat conditions. These training programs are paid and qualify you for tuition assistance. Key Skills Learned Procedures for handling medical and food supplies. Procedures for handling weapons and ammunition. Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Helpful Skills Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or typing. Ability to keep accurate records. Enjoy physical work. Benefits Paid training. A monthly paycheck.
