We have a great opportunity for a RN 11-7 Supervisor position to join our team, working on the acute and long term care unit.  We are located in the suburban area outside of Philadelphia, PA.  The position is a Monday through Friday positon.

We are currently seeking a qualified RN 11-7 Supervisor to join our team, working on the acute and long term care unit.

The ideal candidate is someone with the qualifications that can lead the team of Nurses and CNA's in providing excellent resident care.

Essential Functions of the RN 11-7 Supervisor are, but are not limited to:

• Assists the nursing team in providing resident care when professional nursing skills/judgment is needed.
• Continually supervises and evaluates resident care throughout the shift
• Ensures any staffing changes are in alignment with budgeted staffing plan.   Address any staffing concerns as they arise
• Identify learning needs of staff and participate in educational opportunities in collaboration with the Staff Development Coordinator and nursing leaders.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to staff when needed.
• Round on each nursing unit and respond to issues as needed/requested.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and positive service excellence behaviors when dealing with all customers.
• Responsible for interacting directly with residents’ families to answer their questions and ease their concerns.
• Ensures and/or assists with transcribing all doctor orders timely and accurately.
• Oversees and/or assists with administering IVs and other medications.
• Assists with or complete admissions/discharging of the residents.
• Ensure safety of residents, customers and facility through awareness of and conscientious application of policies and procedures and emergency responses.
• Promotes regulatory compliance through demonstrating working knowledge of long term care regulations and participating in efforts towards consistent survey readiness and assisting with completing plan of correction.

RN 11-7 Supervisor Qualifications:

• Current registered nurse license preferably issued by the state of Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated competence in leadership, effective communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to perform functions as itemized in physical and environmental requirements of the job.
• Take appropriate action to assure adequate staffing to provide resident care.
• Supervise and assess resident care and take appropriate action.
• Implement facility procedures to provide resident care.
• Familiarity with Federal, State, and local long term care requirements.
