Role: Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: 100% Remote, USA
Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and declarative Salesforce capabilities . The candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional development teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex .
- Build responsive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Lightning Experience.
- Develop and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries.
- Configure Salesforce using Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Reports, Dashboards, and Custom Objects .
- Integrate Salesforce with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware .
- Implement Salesforce security including Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, and CRUD/FLS .
- Develop scalable solutions following Salesforce governor limits and best practices .
- Participate in Salesforce data migration, transformation, and data-quality activities.
- Write unit tests and maintain required Apex test coverage .
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD for Salesforce deployments.
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Follow Salesforce coding standards, version control, and Agile development practices.
Required Skills
- Salesforce development experience.
- Strong Apex development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) .
- Excellent knowledge of SOQL/SOSL .
- Experience with Salesforce Flows and declarative configuration .
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations .
- Knowledge of Salesforce security and sharing model.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD .
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services .
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certification.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud , or industry-specific Salesforce solutions.
- Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps Center / Copado / Gearset .
- Experience with Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and asynchronous Apex .
- Knowledge of Salesforce architecture and design patterns.
