Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time
Skyview Rehab and Nursing
Wallingford, CT
$33–$36/hour

LTC Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work with residents in both short-term rehab and long-term care settings while supporting mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercise programs, ambulation training, transfer practice, and balance activities
• Observe resident performance and communicate changes or concerns to the PT
• Support residents in working toward individualized rehabilitation goals
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and progress notes

Qualifications:

• Active PTA license required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
