1st Shift Material Handler / Packaging Bags
Wage $20/hr

What You'll Do:

• Support the safe handling, movement, and packaging of finished products and raw materials.
• Prepare materials for packaging and assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas following strict safety and food quality standards.
• Operate equipment such as floor jacks, trash compactors, vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
• Assist with general plant duties, including sanitation and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Ability to operate warehouse and cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out processes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Physical stamina to climb stairs and ladders, walk on catwalks, and work around plant equipment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in food manufacturing or sanitation preferred.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Previous experience handling packaging materials or working in a production environment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• At least 1 year of related experience in a food manufacturing sanitation or material handling role.

Other Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work first shift, generally from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• Ability to pass a background check focusing on sex offender registry.
• Ability to work from September 22, 2026, with possible extension.
• On-site position located at Top Tier Ingredients, LLC, Hancock, WI.
