Yard Worker

Laborer PositionThe primary function of a laborer is to work on a variety of tasks involving physical labor that may include working with materials, building orders, loading and unloading trucks, working with inventory, and keeping work areas clean and safe.Duties and Responsibilities:Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:Build orders based on customer requests, ensuring materials and quantities are correct.Provide service to customers by retrieving and loading product, answering questions, and displaying proper attitude.Experience with operating a forklift.Staging materials and supplies to be loaded onto delivery trucks.Unload semi and preparing outgoing orders; put away inventory.Set-up and clean-up of the work area each day.Follow OSHA rules and regulations.Other duties, as assigned.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
