Consulting Engineering Technical Leader

Technical LeaderThe successful applicant will be performing work on US Government classified environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e., U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil. The successful applicant must have an active DoD TS/SCI or Top Secret (with SCI eligibility) security clearance.Must live within commuting distance and be able to work onsite four days per week at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.Meet The TeamOur Technical Leaders are an integral part of the Customer Experience (CX) team delivering Business Critical Services to our customers! We help them to reduce risk, drive innovation, and enhance their network to meet business objectives. We are the customer's trusted advisor, helping the customer understand their network, reduce risks, and take advantage of the technology. We work closely with Cisco Engineering to advocate innovation for our customer and as a liaison, share what is coming with our customers to help them be the groundbreakers of technology.Your ImpactAs a Technical Leader in this role, you will be part of a team building towards a zero-trust posture on SD-WAN + ISE as the foundation, with SNA, Secure Workload, and Catalyst Center as the next layer. You will help drive the effort to transform our current and future network architecture for our customers. Work directly with our customers to gain experience and exposure into their networks. Collaborate on a variety of projects that have a real impact on the lives of Veterans and military service members. We will value your ideas and perspective on how to get things done. You will work on network infrastructures and help to deliver business solutions and technology solutions from data, security, mobility, and cloud.Minimum Qualifications:Must possess a current DoD TS/SCI security clearance or Top Secret (with SCI-eligibility) security clearanceEight years relevant experience in Cisco enterprise networking to include technologies such as SD-WAN, IOS XE, OR ipv4/ipv6Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or equivalent skills (Enterprise Networking, Security, Data Center or Collaboration)Preferred Qualifications:Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead or guide teams made up of Cisco, Customer and Partner members in the analysis and resolution of sophisticated network problems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to solve technical problems. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; andOnce performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below:New York City Metro Area:$160,800.00 - $253,200.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:$142,900.00 - $246,200.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
