Since opening the agency in 2017, we've grown into a team of more than 40 professionals who are committed to helping customers protect what matters most. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent my career as an Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager, where I learned the importance of leadership, teamwork, delivering exceptional service, and building strong relationships. Those same principles continue to drive our agency today. I'm married to my wife, Jessy, and we have two young daughters. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, playing basketball, and spending time with my family. I'm also passionate about giving back and staying involved in our community through partnerships with local organizations and community initiatives. One of the things I'm most proud of is the culture we've built. Our agency motto is simple "Protect people, make money, and have fun while doing it!" Position Overview Are you outgoing and customer-focused? Do you enjoy working with the public? If you answered yes to these questions, working for a State Farm independent contractor agent may be the career for you! State Farm agents market only State Farm insurance and financial service products. Responsibilities Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services Requirements Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams Self-motivated Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews Ability to explain complex financial issues in understandable terms Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain) Life and Health license (must be able to obtain) Must have prior State Farm experience This is a remote position.
