About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room (OR)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in the operating room throughout the duration of surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, including the setup of instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to surgery
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and surgical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience required
• Active NCCT or NBSTSA certification required (documentation must be provided)
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating room scrub techniques and sterile field management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a regional referral center or high-volume surgical environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
