Must‑Have Fit This role is managed by the Vice President of Partnerships and Programs and sits on United Way’s Community Partnerships and Programs team, which is a team of five. We are looking for someone to manage partner‑facing operations of our work with local nonprofit programs and facilitate community partner meetings, including support of community investment decisions, organizing, facilitating, and evaluating meetings. Primary Responsibilities Lead partnership management across our community through the Building Bridges Initiative and other work; manage day‑to‑day partner‑facing operations and community investment processes. Build and maintain trusting relationships with grantees, prospective grantees, initiative partners, volunteers, and community stakeholders. Execute Building Bridges partnership onboarding and convenings for program development, aligning with program cycles. Provide technical support to nonprofit partners within your skill set and United Way’s competencies. Participate actively as a member of the Community Partnerships and Programs team and contribute ideas and solutions. Inspire high levels of volunteer engagement, performance, and satisfaction by communicating and modeling UWSEMN’s vision and values. Facilitate regular partnership convenings, creating space for group dynamic development and shared ownership among partners. Own partnership communications and project management related to partner‑assigned tasks, ensuring smooth workflows. Develop human‑centered processes that minimize burden on community organizations, setting clear expectations and leveraging existing resources. Regularly solicit feedback and implement learnings from stakeholders. Apply an equity lens to identify under‑represented voices and adapt processes for full participation. Collect, analyze, evaluate, and present data on the results of UWSEMN’s work. Stay current on local conditions and issues by reviewing local, state, and national data sources. Translate data into clear, meaningful reports for internal and external audiences, and sometimes for grant writing and reporting. Qualifications Passionate about creating equitable community change. Enjoy working with both people and processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfortable working on a PC and using or learning Office365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Excel, Microsoft Forms, and grant‑management software. Hours Typical work week is 37.5 hours. Location: Olmsted or Dodge or Winona or Fillmore County residents preferred; mailing address acceptable with occasional in‑person meetings. Standard office hours Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑4:00 pm. Flexible work schedules and hybrid/remote options are available on an individual basis. Compensation and Benefits Starting salary $45,000–$50,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Employees are paid electronically twice a month.
