Director, Project Engineering (PLC/SCADA)

Director-level engineering position leading large global projects and programs across cross-functional teams in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Responsible for strategic planning, risk management, budget oversight, and alignment of project outcomes with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent global projects and programs within authorized budgets and timelines
• Develop project strategy, risk assessments, and mitigation approaches aligned with business objectives
• Direct global teams and task forces to establish procedures, standards, and best practices
• Present major programs to executive management and serve as organizational spokesperson
• Mentor senior staff and integrate lessons across disciplines to optimize project outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related discipline; or equivalent technical experience
• 18+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience
• Demonstrated excellence in global project management breadth and depth
• Technical background in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or biological industries
• Project accounting experience and understanding of procurement and contracting processes
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Formal project management training (preferred)
