A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available in the Tavares, FL area for the upcoming school year. Blazer Jobs is partnering with local school districts to hire a dedicated and experienced BCBA who is passionate about supporting students with behavioral needs and driving meaningful progress through evidence-based practices.

About the Role:
This school-based BCBA role focuses on assessing student behavior, developing intervention plans, and supporting staff in implementing effective behavior strategies. The BCBA will collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure students receive appropriate behavioral support and can access their education successfully.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Florida state licensure (LBA) or eligibility required
• Completion of supervised fieldwork and passing of BCBA exam
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
• Strong leadership, data analysis, and collaboration skills

BCBA certification requires a graduate degree, approved coursework in behavior analysis, supervised experience, and passing a national certification exam .

Job Duties:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide supervision and training to RBTs and school staff
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in meetings
• Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
