Helpline Counselor / Care Coordinator

We are looking for a Helpline Counselor / Care Coordinator to provide telephone-based crisis support, referrals, and advocacy. This role ensures clients receive the services they need, offering crisis counseling, suicide intervention, system navigation, and follow-up care.Key Responsibilities:- Answer helpline calls and provide information, referrals, and crisis counseling- Conduct suicide assessments, safety planning, and follow-up with at-risk clients- Advocate for clients to access community, federal, and private resources- Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and client databases- Participate in team meetings, training, and community outreach- Support disaster relief efforts and special projects as neededQualifications:- Strong crisis intervention and advocacy skills- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards- Professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork- Eligible for training and certification as Information & Referral Specialist and Crisis SpecialistBenefits: Health, dental & vision insurancePaid vacation & holidays401(k) matchMonthly training & CEU opportunitiesJoin a caring team dedicated to supporting individuals and families through critical services in our community!
