Full-Time Anesthesiologist - ASAP Start, $450/hr - Locums

full time, true generalist Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa. This position requires broad clinical capability across multiple service lines and openness to in house call . Providers focused solely on OB will not be considered.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Des Moines, IA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Full time
• Call: In house call required (includes weekends, varies)
• Rate: Up to $450 per hour

Practice Environment:

• Combination of hospital and surgical center settings
• Level II Trauma Center
• Established group of 45 Anesthesiologists
• Coverage across 28 operating locations
• Support from CRNAs and tech staff (no AA's)
• Providers will work independently at times with occasional CRNA supervision

Clinical Scope:

• Full spectrum of cases including:
  • General
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • Robotics
  • Cardiac
  • Pediatrics

Required Skills:

• Strong generalist skillset across multiple specialties
• Proficient in:
  • Regional anesthesia
  • Spinal and epidural anesthesia
• Cardiac: TEE certification required
• Pediatrics: Fellowship required

Systems:

• EMR: Epic and paper charting

Credentials:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• ACLS and BLS required
• Flu vaccination required
