What You Will Be Taking Charge Of

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic assessments, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health concerns in collaboration with physicians or independently as per credentialing
• Providing education to patients and families regarding preventative care, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in line with practice guidelines
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic condition management

• Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background You Should Have

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Essential Certifications Needed

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the capability to obtain them within 90 days
