About the Position

Majority of work performed in various facilities, such as nursing homes and home care facilities. Responsibilities include traveling to locations using a company vehicle. Log in for self-dispatching or call dispatch for case load information. Arrive at the first case at the start of the assigned shift. Unload portable equipment and perform exams ordered by physicians. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images. Process ultrasounds and digitally send them to a Radiologist for interpretation. Communicate efficiently with a call center, dispatch, peers, and supervisory staff. Maintain vehicle and sonographic equipment. Ensure a high standard of medical ethics and self-motivation. Train other technologists as required. Self-motivated and dependable, working independently with little supervision. Good organizational skills required. Must possess basic smartphone and computer skills. Communicate any changes to criminal background, adhering to a drug-free workplace policy. Document results of medical examinations and TB screenings as required. Use a pleasant phone manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Behave and conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner. Additional duties as assigned are part of job responsibilities. Maintain professionalism in maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions.
