Sr. IT Architect - Dynamics 365 CRM Solutions

Role Description

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 CRM Solutions Architect who blends deep technical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills. In this role, you will architect and deliver high quality Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions that enhance patient services, optimize operational workflows, and support critical healthcare and business outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor to business and technology teams, you will translate complex requirements into scalable and secure architecture, guide data and integration strategy, and drive solution governance and best practices.

This role is key in connecting technology with organizational needs, ensuring platforms, processes, and teams are aligned to deliver measurable impact, long term value, and a seamless, patient centered experience.

Specific Job Duties

• Collaboration, Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable solution designs.
  • Present architectural concepts, solution approaches, and technical recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formats to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand operational needs, strategic goals, and opportunities to drive business value.
• Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Lead the design and implementation of Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions that align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Translate complex business and operational requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical architectures.
  • Design and deliver end‑to‑end Power Platform solutions, including canvas and model‑driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Power Pages sites to support patient‑service and operational needs.
  • Oversee system configuration, customization, and integration with external applications to ensure reliable, high‑quality performance.
• Data Architecture & Process Automation
  • Model robust Dataverse schemas - tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, and business process flows - to ensure scalable and maintainable data architectures.
  • Automate business processes using Power Automate, workflow orchestration, and solution components that streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Drive data consistency and integrity across systems through strong data modeling, validation patterns, and governance.
• Governance, Standards & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive solution governance and quality by establishing standards, defining best practices, and enforcing architectural guidelines.
  • Support and evolve requirements‑definition processes for application development and platform initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, process optimization, system enhancements, and continuous improvement across the platform.
• Integration & Enterprise Alignment
  • Architect integrations across applications, platforms, and external systems to support seamless patient‑service experiences and end‑to‑end business workflows.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to compliance, security, and industry standards, maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with IT and business partners to implement solutions that enhance application and infrastructure reliability.
• Leadership, Mentoring & Team Enablement
  • Mentor business analysts and software engineers, fostering collaboration, technical growth, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support team development by modeling strong engineering practices, architectural thinking, and solution quality.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence by encouraging innovation, continuous learning, and high‑performance delivery.

Qualifications

• Background in healthcare IT or patient‑support services, with the ability to design solutions that meet regulatory, operational, and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and influencing decision‑making.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including strong documentation abilities and message‑tailoring for technical and non‑technical groups.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor business analysts and software engineers, fostering skill development, solution quality, and collaborative team delivery.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and collaborative mindset, consistently going above and beyond to support teams and ensure business success.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop detailed plans, manage multiple priorities, and ensure successful project outcomes.

• Proven experience architecting and implementing Dynamics 365 CRM solutions that deliver scalable, secure, and high‑quality business applications.
• Expertise in Power Apps, including canvas app architecture, model‑driven app development, form customization, business rules, business process flows, and solution layering.
• Proficiency with Power Automate cloud flows, workflow orchestration, and automated process design.
• Strong Dataverse data‑modeling capabilities, including table design, relationships, auditing, and role‑based security.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, system integration, and modern application design patterns that support robust, maintainable solutions.
• Strategic thinker able to define solution strategies, evaluate trade‑offs, and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to balance technical rigor with business priorities, ensuring architecture decisions align with enterprise objectives.
• Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices with hands‑on experience using Azure DevOps for solution management and work item tracking.
• Extensive experience with architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with AI and Agentic AI technology, design and architecture is a bonus.
