Registered Nurse – ICU

Minneapolis, MN | Short Term Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital
• Float within scope to other units or affiliate facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Accurately document patient care and clinical assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in a Level III Trauma environment
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and policy requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Minnesota license in hand preferred — candidates without MN licensure must initiate the application process upon offer acceptance
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred; experience requirements vary by position
• Pending licenses may be considered
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this position)
• Must be willing and able to complete fingerprinting as required by Minnesota state law — results must be on file prior to start
• Minimum of 1 supervisor reference required at time of submission
• No open background cases; all background hits are reviewed during the compliance process

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Epic/Excellian
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or ICU setting
• Ability to float within a hospital system or to affiliate facilities as needed
