responsibilities:

Lead System Design & Engineering: Develop, review, and approve complete CAD/Revit documentation packages, equipment schedules, and submittals for complex low-voltage systems.

Provide Senior Technical Authority: Serve as the senior technical lead for enterprise data center projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and resolving technical challenges.

Ensure Compliance & Quality Control: Oversee design quality, enforce templates, and validate designs against applicable codes, client specifications, and industry standards.

Deliver Expert Troubleshooting & Commissioning: Provide high-level escalation support for field operations, conduct root-cause analysis, and verify system configurations.

Mentor Engineering Staff: Coach junior engineers and reviewers on best practices, design standards, and low-voltage system architecture.

qualifications:
5+ Years of Relevant Experience: Proven background engineering low-voltage integration projects, specifically involving AV, access control, fire alarm, and security systems. Advanced Design Tool Proficiency: Deep, practical expertise using AutoCAD and Revit for complex low-voltage design and documentation. Enterprise & Data Center Expertise: Strong understanding of networked low-voltage systems, IT infrastructure, and complex system architectures. Technical & AV Knowledge: Must have hands-on audio-visual (AV) system design experience alongside core security and fire protection integration. Leadership & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability to manage technical deliverables for multiple large-scale projects without requiring travel.
