Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Respiratory Therapist - 2120 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license in order to receive travel rate. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.

Preferred Credentials: Associate’s degree or technical degree.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of separation from Ascension to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Level 4 NICU. Provides evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, develops and implements respiratory care plans, monitors patient condition and equipment, performs advanced respiratory care modalities, provides patient and family education, and responds to emergency resuscitation codes. Uses Servo N, Bunnell Jet Ventilator, 3100A Oscillator, Bubble CPAP, Optiflow.

Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend commitment.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
