Room Attendant / Houseperson

Description Concords Comfort Inn is looking for a Room Attendant / Houseperson where you would have some shifts cleaning guest rooms and some shifts cleaning the public spaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times Clean and maintain all public, storage, and guest rooms Vacuum floors Clean bathrooms Remove trash Maintain room quality based on hotel and brand standards Follow standard procedures for acceptance and security of guest lost and found items Ensure master keys and located guestroom keys are properly secured Ability to work well with a diverse group of people Additional Duties Attend monthly department meetings Complete projects as determined by management Assist other coworkers and departments when necessary Actively seeks out other tasks when current work is complete Participate in ongoing education and training Other duties as assigned Requirements Physical Requirements Non-slip shoes are recommended Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkRequires walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stooping, handling, and seeing Lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
