An Aesthetic Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering advanced skin care treatments and procedures to enhance patient appearance and confidence. This position involves independent practice with oversight, administering a variety of treatments including injectables, laser therapies, chemical peels, and combination treatments while ensuring high standards of patient safety and care. The nurse will actively engage in patient consultation, assessment, and education, supported by ongoing professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and skin assessments
- Administer treatments such as injectables (Botox, fillers), laser therapy, and chemical peels
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
- Provide post-treatment care and patient education
- Ensure strict compliance with safety and sterilisation protocols
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aesthetic products and techniques
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in aesthetic nursing
- Certification in Aesthetic Nursing or related field
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dermal fillers and Botox administration
- Proficiency with laser therapy equipment
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
- Attention to detail and empathy in patient care
