Associate Product Manager

Position Overview The Associate Product Manager (APM) supports a disciplined, business‑oriented approach to product planning and management of assigned hardware solutions to achieve business performance objectives. Through Voice of the Customer research, participation in channel partner product councils, meetings with internal sales and marketing organizations, and competitive analysis, the APM gains a deep understanding of customer applications, problems, and needs in target market segments. Armed with this knowledge, the APM develops and executes a compelling product vision and an optimized product portfolio that delivers a superior customer value proposition and meets product financial objectives. Responsibilities Interface with customers, sales, and field teams to identify and validate product requirements. Perform competitive product and market analysis research. Participate in cross‑functional teams (HW/SW development, operations, QA, and product management) to design and deliver high‑quality solutions. Assist product management leads in developing and maintaining product roadmaps. Support day‑to‑day product lifecycle activities and projects. Identify and drive initiatives that simplify customer interactions with Entrust. Lead cross‑functional teams to commercialize new products through the corporate ERP system. Collaborate with marketing communication, vertical marketing, and functional colleagues to develop and deliver timely reports and information. Review and report on product performance indicators. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 2+ years of engineering, business analysis, or product management experience. Demonstrated analytical experience, including market research, analysis, and competitive intelligence. Technical acumen to engage with development, customer support, and service operations teams. Functional understanding and experience of both hardware and software technologies. Self‑management skills for day‑to‑day tasks and projects with proper direction. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a complex, fast‑paced B2B marketing environment. Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization. Preferred Qualifications Relevant work experience at a hardware and/or software product development company. MBA or M.S. in Management of Technology. Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work well under pressure while managing multiple competing projects. Location & Work Arrangement This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our Shakopee, MN headquarters office. Compensation & Benefits Compensation Range: $93,341 – $136,901 per year (primary posting location). Actual compensation is determined by geographic location, education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
