Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring prompt and efficient treatment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions by collecting relevant health data promptly upon arrival.
• Develop individualized care plans aimed at stabilization and treatment outcomes.
• Implement nursing interventions accurately and coordinate care delivery with emergency medical teams.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary to meet clinical goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and family members to ensure seamless patient management.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, safety, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
• BLS certification from an approved provider; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Ability to quickly assess and determine patient care priorities in high-pressure situations.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC system.
