Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Major Duties/Responsibilities

• Administrative duties may include: Strategic planning and performance improvement, creating monthly daytime and after hours call schedules, completing mid-year and annual proficiencies/evaluations for GI employees, and personnel actions as needed.
• Clinical duties may include:
• Completes inpatient and outpatient consults
• Reviews clinical and care community consults
• Assists GI clinics to potentially include telehealth clinics
• Performs all general GI endoscopic procedures and EUS/ERCP, if trained/proficient in these advanced procedures
• Supervises trainees/fellows who are rotating on the GI service to include inpatient consults, consult reviews, outpatient clinics, and procedures.
• Supports GI advanced practice providers.
• Other duties may be assigned by the Deputy Associate Chief of Staff for Specialty Care, Associate Chief of Staff for Specialty Care, or designee.

Work Schedule: 80 hours total per two weeks pay period (Monday - Friday) and approximately 5 weeknights of call per month.
