May absorb med-surg patients if swing volume drops. These patients require less nurse-intensive care than traditional med-surg patients but nothing different from a skill standpoint.CALL REQUIREMENTS: No standing call. May be placed on call if volume supports but no more than the 48 hours of call-off time already in the standard contract.FLOATING REQUIREMENTS: Mainly to med/surg only for patient assignments.
