This position may be responsible for one or more of the following job duties: Receiving, Stocking, and Loading. The hours for this role are from 10 am until close.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive and check in merchandise from in-bound shipments compare to purchase orders or other documents.Fill case and bottle orders for productsLoad delivery trucks and other outbound shipments of billed ordersRestock daily bottle and case inventory soldParticipate in inventory counts as directedUnderstand and adhere to the safety rules and requirements in the workplaceEnsure warehouse equipment service needs, safety needs, workplace accidents, and other safety issues are reported promptlyAttend safety meetings; take safety classes, as neededResponsible for filling out equipment report before usageResponsible for meeting operational efficiency goals and benchmarksOperate other warehouse equipment, as neededPerform other job related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment safelyPlus 6 months of experiencePreferred Qualifications:Operate other warehouse equipment safelyProficiency in inventory software, databases and systemsFamiliarity with modern warehousing practices and methodsAs the Distributor of Choice, Glazer's Beer and Beverage embraces a culture where diversity drives innovative solutions for the success of our employees, retailers, and supplier partners.
