As a Mechanical Assembler, you will contribute to the assembly, testing, and inspection of aerospace components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform precision assembly of small aerospace components, subassemblies, and finished units Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to fit, align, adjust, and secure components according to engineering specifications and production standards Interpret and follow detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and process documentation to ensure accurate and consistent builds Conduct in‑process inspections and basic testing to verify parts meet quality, tolerance, and performance requirements Accurately complete required production and quality documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards Clean, prepare, and maintain parts, tools, and workstations to support a safe, organized, and efficient production environment Collaborate with team members, leads, and quality personnel to meet daily production goals and maintain high quality standards Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or process issues to support continuous improvement efforts Skills & Experience Previous mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred; entry‑level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply Hands‑on experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment in a manufacturing or shop environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical instructions is highly preferred, but not required Strong manual dexterity with the ability to handle small, detailed components with precision High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work in a fast‑paced environment Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing setting Proficient computer skills Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre‑Tax and Roth post‑tax contributions available Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) Short and long‑term disability Health Spending Account (HSA) Transportation benefits Employee Assistance Program Paid Sick Time Weekly Pay Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.
