Maintenance Technician

Length- Temp to FTE for good performers

Job Location - Des Moines, Iowa 50313

Hours - 2 positions (1 first shift and 1 second shift position)

Job Summary

The Maintenance position provides maintenance support to the client's premix facility. Job duties include preventive maintenance work and routine maintenance on production equipment.

Respond to requests to address and diagnose operation mechanical problems where equipment is not operating correctly

Disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications

Perform regular inspections of production equipment and performing preventive maintenance duties

Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning maintenance problems regarding equipment

Fabricate parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasks

Weld parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasks

Collect/test all required water samples (i.e.
