Our comprehensive offering includes: affordable medical, dental, and vision care; flexible spending accounts; life insurance; 401k with company match and much, much more.**Job Description****Key Responsibilities:**1. **Tool and Equipment Management:*** Issue tools, equipment, and MRO supplies to production and maintenance personnel as needed.* Ensure that all tools and equipment are returned in good condition and accounted for.* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.2**. Inventory Control:*** Maintain accurate inventory records of all tools, equipment, and supplies within the crib.* Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.* Track tool usage and life cycle to forecast replacement needs and avoid shortages.3. **Procurement and Stock Replenishment:*** Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests to replenish stock as needed.* Work with the procurement team to source and order new tools, equipment, and supplies.* Ensure timely delivery and proper storage of incoming materials.4. **Documentation and Reporting:*** Maintain detailed records of tool usage, inventory transactions, and maintenance activities.* Generate reports on inventory levels, tool usage, and equipment status for management review.* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.5. **Process Improvement:*** Identify opportunities to improve tool crib operations and implement best practices.* Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to streamline tool distribution processes.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.6. **Safety and Compliance:*** Ensure that all tools and equipment are stored and handled in accordance with safety regulations.* Conduct regular safety inspections of the crib and related storage areas.* Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the tool crib and across the manufacturing floor.7. **Customer Service:*** Provide excellent customer service to all production and maintenance personnel.* Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to tool and equipment distribution.* Assist with training employees on proper tool usage and maintenance procedures.**.Qualifications:****Education and Experience:*** High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in inventory management or related field preferred.* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tool crib operations, inventory management, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.**Skills and Competencies:*** Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., CMMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.* Knowledge of tools, equipment, and MRO supplies used in manufacturing.* Basic mechanical skills and understanding of tool maintenance procedures.
