Human Resources Officer

What you’ll do As our HR Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our people operations. Your role blends HR Management , Payroll Coordination , and General Administration — perfect for someone eager to grow into a broad HR role. You will: Coordinate and validate weekly payroll (timecards, absences, bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, data uploads via ADP). Be the first point of contact for all payroll‑related questions. Maintain and update HR policies, job descriptions, employee files, and our ADP HR system. Manage hiring & offboarding processes: job postings, interviews, documentation, I‑9 compliance, smooth onboarding. Handle monthly HR reporting at US and Group level. Support training management, skill matrices, pay rate change forms, performance evaluations & disciplinary procedures. Submit OSHA logs, follow up on worker’s comp cases, help prepare fire drills. Ensure all HR activities comply with local, state and federal laws. Stay updated on labor law changes. Manage insurance policies (health, car, liability, workers’ comp). Coordinate company vehicles and keep all documentation up to date. Support department managers with administrative tasks and compliance questions. Act as main contact for auditors (HR, compliance, ethics, SMETA). Purchase office supplies and keep office operations running smoothly. Help organize team events: lunches, outings, celebrations, holiday events... Partner with union representatives and follow up union administration matters. What you bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Ideally 3+ years in HR or office administration Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus!)
