Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 20 Bed Stroke Unit Number of Staff – Depending on the census Type of staff: Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) 1 CN 2 License 1 CNA Night Shift – 1 CN, 2 license 1 CAN. Depending on census and required matrix Patient Ratios – 1:6 Type of equipment - EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. NIH Certification Med-surgical competency BLS and ACLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Great interpersonal skills, compassionate care. Has great critical thinking skills List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Thoracentesis, Bone morrow biopsy.

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color - Royal blue scrubs with combination of white

Awards/Recognition: JC certified stroke Unit Gold Elite plus award for Stroke care by AHA Awarded for Medical Surgical Unit of Distinction for two years in a row. Leading unit in maintaining quality metrics related to HAI. (Zero CAUTI, Zero C-Dif, 0 Clabsi for 218 days.)
