About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – West Virginia

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: West Virginia

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, weekdays with every other weekend required. Float within scope as needed. 36 hours guaranteed per week.

Highlights:

• 32-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit serving cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry patients
• Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds
• Cerner EMR system in use
• Orientation held every other Thursday with 16 hours provided
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Free parking available for travelers

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year in-specialty (Med-Surg/Telemetry) experience required
• West Virginia or Compact RN License required (pending license accepted for submission)
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years
• Must reside 100+ miles from facility (75-99 miles may be considered with approval)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless medical exemption provided
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Clean, active RN license with NURSYs verification required
