Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Six-Bed Congregate Living Health Facility

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team at our six-bed Congregate Living Health Facility in Victorville, CA. This position provides the opportunity to deliver personalized, hands-on care in a supportive, home-like environment where residents receive individualized attention and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and report any changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
• Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and use of mobility devices while maintaining safety and dignity.
• Observe and document resident care and behaviors accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and cleaning/disinfection practices.
• Assist with meal service, hydration, and monitoring of residents’ nutritional needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while promoting residents' independence and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Uphold resident rights, confidentiality, dignity, and respect in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing (required).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred).
• Previous experience in congregate living, skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, hospice, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility.
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
• Reliable, patient-centered, and committed to providing exceptional care.
