Job Role: Data & Analytics Lead Director / Architect Location: Minneapolis, MN onsite Duration: Contract to Hire

Job Description: We are looking for a Data & Analytics Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for the organization's data and analytics function. The role will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, reporting to the client VP, and will be responsible for shaping the data and analytics strategy, architecture, delivery roadmap and operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the Data & Analytics strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Own the overall data platform and analytics architecture, with Microsoft Fabric as the strategic platform.
• Establish standards for data integration, data engineering, data quality, data modeling, BI and analytics.
• Provide architectural and technical direction across enterprise data initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize data, reporting and analytics use cases.
• Oversee data onboarding from key enterprise applications and ensure reliable, governed data availability.
• Guide the development of enterprise data models, semantic models, reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Establish data governance, quality, security and ownership practices in partnership with business and technology teams.
• Lead and mentor data engineering, analytics and BI teams and coordinate with implementation partners.
• Manage the analytics roadmap, priorities, dependencies, risks and delivery outcomes.
• Evaluate new data and analytics technologies and identify opportunities to improve business value through analytics and AI.
• Establish and communicate architecture principles, standards and best practices across the data and analytics landscape.
• Act as the senior Data & Analytics technology advisor to the business and technology leadership team.

Required Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in data, analytics, data architecture or technology leadership roles.
• Strong experience leading enterprise data and analytics programs from strategy through implementation.
• Strong hands-on understanding of Microsoft Fabric / Azure data platforms, modern data architecture and cloud analytics.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, data modeling, data quality, BI, semantic models and analytics.
• Experience defining and implementing enterprise data strategies, roadmaps and governance frameworks.
• Experience working with senior business and technology executives and translating business priorities into data and analytics solutions.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing delivery across multiple data and analytics initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application data, including ERP, CRM, CPQ and Product Data Management (PDM) environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.

Preferred:

• Microsoft Fabric / Azure certifications.
• Experience with Power BI and enterprise analytics.
• Experience establishing or leading a Data & Analytics Center of Excellence / operating model.
• Experience with AI/GenAI use cases, particularly where supported by enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technology- focused organization.

Profile Sought

A senior Data & Analytics leader who can operate at both strategic and architectural levels-someone who can work directly with the VP and business leadership, define the data and analytics direction, make architecture decisions, establish governance and standards, and lead teams to turn that strategy into measurable business outcomes.
