About the Position

Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 11:30 AM to midnight on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Full-time position working 3 days per week, 12 hours per day
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• On-call requirement: Yes
• Floating to other locations/campuses required
• Blocked scheduling not accommodated
• Dress code: Teal scrubs
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• IV start experience required
• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed and facilitate smooth patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Participate in quality assurance and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system (PACS)
• Perform basic MRI screening of patients and employees
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within scope of licensure
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• Basic computer experience required
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT certification in MRI required, State Licensure required if in New Mexico, MRT by MIRTP NMED, BLS issued through American Heart Association
