Seven Healthcare are seeking a Medical Lab Scientist for a travel assignment in Taylorsville, Utah. This role requires working within a dynamic lab environment, focusing on Point of Care Testing and clerical duties as needed. A full license is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Lab Scientist

• Perform daily maintenance, QC, and calibrations on analyzers
• Conduct both waived and non-waived patient testing
• Process specimens, including test ordering, centrifuging, and preparing for transport
• Stock lab supplies and perform routine cleaning of lab surfaces
• Willingness to perform clerical duties as assigned

Requirements of the Medical Lab Scientist

• Certified MLS through ASCP or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital laboratory environment as an MLT or MLS
• Experience with EPIC is preferred
• Familiarity with Siemens Dimension EXL, Sysmex 1000, and other listed analyzers
• Adherence to CLIA and CAP safety protocols
