Overview Pool Physical Therapist - Outpatient TGH Rehab Westshore (260001CG) The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers individualized treatment programs to support patients with various cognitive and physical disabilities in achieving their highest level of functional independence. Care delivery is guided by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) standards, ensuring age-appropriate and patient-centered treatment. All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care. Responsibilities Demonstrates the ability to evaluate patients, plan care, provide treatment, assess progress, adjust goals and treatment plans, and make discharge recommendations as per the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guideline Ensures consideration of the age and developmental level of patients in all aspects of care. Demonstrates current knowledge and expertise in patient care Responds to new evaluations within the specific time frame stated in the Policies and Procedures for various areas of work. Remains alert to changes in patients’ conditions and the work environment, responding appropriately. Provides accurate, timely, and consistent documentation of patient care, patient/family education, and response to care in the medical record. Ensures all patient care goals are measurable and include a specific timeframe for attainment. Plans, provides, and maintains a safe environment for patients, staff, and families. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in physical therapy. Licensure by the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist Must be available to travel to meet operational needs at various locations Must be available to work minimum 8 hours/day at least 3 days/week Work Locations Multiple Outpatient rehab locations Primary Location: Tampa Work Locations: TGH Rehab Westshore 1411 N Westshore Blvd Tampa 33607 Eligible for Remote Work: On Site Schedule Full-time Scheduled Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday #J-18808-Ljbffr Tampa General Hospital
