Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical | Travel | Chicago, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit in Chicago, IL. This role is ideal for a candidate with at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience, capable of managing patient care in a fast-paced environment. A strong ability to work every other weekend and flexibility to float within the unit are required.

• Shift Details: 3x12 Days
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1772.82 (negotiable)
• Charting System: Epic
• Local Candidate Policy: Locals accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Deliver tracheostomy care and management
• Utilize telemetry to monitor patient conditions

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Ability to work weekends and float as needed
• Must hold an Illinois RN license

Preferred:

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
