Description Medical Director (Addiction Medicine / Substance Use Disorder Treatment) St. Joseph, MO Physician Opportunity Lead a Team That Changes Lives New Season Treatment Centers is a national leader in addiction treatment and recovery services, helping individuals overcome Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) through Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), medical care, and behavioral health services. We are seeking a Medical Director (MD or DO) to provide medical oversight, physician leadership, and clinical support for our outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in St. Joseph, Missouri. What You'll Do

• Provide medical oversight for patient care and treatment services
• Conduct admission, annual, and follow-up physical examinations
• Oversee Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and medication management
• Collaborate with nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and counselors
• Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with DEA, SAMHSA, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, state, and federal regulations
• Provide physician leadership, staff training, and clinical guidance
• Support positive patient outcomes and long-term recovery

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Physician License (MD or DO)
• Active DEA Registration
• Medicare and Medicaid credentialing or eligibility
• Experience in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, or Substance Use Disorder Treatment preferred
• Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP), and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
