Humani HR is a primarily remote-first organization; however, HR Business Partners and Generalists are expected to attend client visits periodically (typically up to 15% of the time, but could be more frequent), as well as company events. We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support our HR Business Partners across diverse clients, industries, and regions. You'll tackle complex people challenges with customized solutions, bringing stellar communication, organization, attention to detail, and data analysis skills. We're seeking candidates with demonstrated experience in payroll processing and benefits administration; experience in a unionized environment is an added asset. What you’ll do: Deliver timely and quality HR support across multiple clients Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices Lead end-to-end recruitment, helping clients fill roles quickly while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Manage HR systems, payroll data entry and support process improvements Contribute to impactful HR projects and reporting What you bring: 2+ years in client-facing HR support At least 1 year of experience with payroll processing, full-cycle recruitment, and multi-jurisdiction compliance Highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Strong communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Passion for the future of HR and continuous learning Ability to thrive in fast-changing, ambiguous environments Why Humani: $70K–$85K base + performance bonus (10–25%+) 4 weeks' vacation + wellness days Benefits + retirement match Meaningful growth, impact, and learning opportunities We’re growing fast and investing in the people who grow with us.
