Medical Imaging Technologist

Job Description

The Medical Imaging Technologist is responsible for operating advanced medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels. This role plays a critical part in aiding diagnostic processes and, with advanced training, assisting in radiation therapy treatments.

Responsibilities

• Operate medical imaging equipment efficiently and safely to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensure the highest quality of imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments as required, following safety and procedural guidelines.
• Maintain imaging equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Schedule

This position operates from 1 PM to 11:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Certification in medical imaging technology.
• Advanced training or certification in radiation therapy preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and imaging technology.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
