The developer will partner with Kiro to accelerate analysis, refactoring, and modernization activities.Key ResponsibilitiesUpgrade CCS Java services from Java 8 to Java 11+Refactor code impacted by deprecated/removed APIs, library updates, and new Java featuresRedesign and validate Java integrations with the new Documentum environmentCollaborate with WebMethods developers to ensure seamless end?to?end communicationUse Kiro to accelerate:Codebase analysisAutomated refactoring proposalsTest generation and gap identificationReview and validate AI?generated refactorings and recommendationsParticipate in code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and automated testingRequired Skills5+ years Java development experience (Java 8 and newer)Strong understanding of JDK 11 changes and migration considerationsExperience with REST, Spring/Spring Boot, and integration patternsFamiliarity with JMS, SOAP/REST integrations, or middleware systemsExperience reviewing and validating AI?generated development outputsGit, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle proficiencyPreferred SkillsExperience integrating with Documentum or other ECM systemsExposure to /container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state lawButler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
