Associate General Dentist — Palm Coast, FL

Primary Clinical Focus: Restorative, Surgical Extractions, Implants & Cosmetics

Compensation: $700-$900 per day or 33% of Collections, Earn 35% of Collections when monthly prodcution exceeds $100K

Boulder Rock Dental in Palm Coast, Florida is adding an associate general dentist to an established, multi-doctor practice — you're joining a running clinical operation, not building a column from scratch.

The model is straightforward and uncapped: 33% of net collections, stepping up to 35% of collections once monthly production clears $100K. The practice's production expectation is $5–7K per day and $100K per month, and you're protected while you ramp with a $700–$900 per day guarantee for your first 90 days. There's no ceiling bolted on top — what you produce is what you earn.

And you get your life back on Friday afternoon. The schedule is Monday through Friday, the practice's published hours close at 1:00 pm Friday, and there are no weekend hours. Palm Coast sits on the Atlantic between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach — beaches, the Intracoastal, miles of trails, and no state income tax on any of what you earn.

About the Area

Palm Coast is the largest city in Flagler County, on Florida's Atlantic coast roughly midway between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach. You get direct beach access (Flagler Beach is minutes south), the Intracoastal Waterway running through town, an extensive network of trails and preserves, and a subtropical climate that makes year-round outdoor living realistic rather than aspirational. I-95 runs straight through the city.

For the practical stuff: Daytona Beach International Airport is about 30 miles south and Jacksonville International about 70 miles north, so you have two commercial air options. Orlando is roughly 90 minutes southwest. Daytona State College has a Palm Coast campus, with Embry-Riddle and Bethune-Cookman in Daytona Beach, the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, and the University of Florida about 90 minutes west in Gainesville. And Florida has no state personal income tax — on an associate dentist's income, that difference is substantial compared to most Northeast and Midwest states.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry including diagnosis, treatment planning, and restorative care for an established adult and family patient base
• Perform routine and complex restorative procedures consistent with a general and cosmetic case mix
• Conduct thorough clinical examinations and present treatment plans clearly to patients
• Work a full-time Monday–Friday clinical schedule in coordination with the practice's other doctors
• Collaborate with hygiene and clinical support staff to manage patient flow and continuity of care
• Meet production expectations of approximately $5–7K per day and $100K per month
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and complete charting
• Refer to specialists appropriately and maintain clinical standards and infection-control protocols
• Participate in building and retaining the patient base through consistent, high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active Florida dental license, or license-eligible with licensure secured prior to the start date
• Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to provide the full scope of general dentistry independently
• Availability for a full-time, 5-day Monday–Friday schedule
• Professional liability insurance eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior associate or private-practice experience in general dentistry
• Comfort with cosmetic and esthetic restorative procedures
• Experience with a collections- or production-based compensation model
• Demonstrated case-acceptance and treatment-presentation skills
• Existing ties to Northeast Florida or a clear intent to settle in the Palm Coast / Flagler County area
• Experience in a multi-doctor practice environment
