Senior Paid Search Manager Location: Irvine, CA — Onsite Compensation: $130,000–$155,000 base + bonus + equity (for qualified candidates) About Bidbus Bidbus is a real-time automotive marketplace that enables consumers to sell their vehicles through competitive bidding from licensed dealers. We recently raised a $15M Series A, achieved 7x growth over the past year, served more than 10,000 sellers, and reached approximately $300M in annualized GMV. The Role We are seeking a senior, hands-on Google acquisition specialist to drive Search and Performance Max efforts. We plan to scale ad spending from $200K up to $2M+ per month across LA, SF, and DFW, with additional markets on the horizon. Your objective will be to increase the volume of qualified sellers, listings, and sold vehicles while maintaining marginal CAC within reasonable limits. This is not just an agency management position—you will work directly within the account. What You’ll Own Strategy and execution for Google Search and Performance Max Optimization of search terms, keywords, match types, and negative keywords Campaign structuring for brand vs. non-brand and across individual markets Conversion tracking, offline conversions, and CRM integration Landing page and funnel testing Developing and managing a weekly experiment roadmap with performance insights Scaling budgets in a controlled manner based on qualified leads, listings, and sales What We’re Looking For 6+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads Experience managing $200K–$2M+ in monthly Google ad spend Strong background in lead generation, marketplaces, automotive, real estate, insurance, mortgage, home services, or healthcare In-depth knowledge of Search, Performance Max, smart bidding, enhanced conversions, and offline conversion imports Ability to optimize for more than just CPL, focusing on qualified leads, transactions, and revenue Strong analytical skills with a willingness to remain hands-on Success in the First 90 Days Identify and resolve major account and measurement issues Eliminate obvious inefficiencies Enhance visibility into downstream performance Launch impactful campaign and landing page tests Scale the strongest markets and intent categories within CAC guidelines
