Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a skilled Occupational Therapist in a school-based environment near the Berkeley, CA area. This position offers the chance to work one day per week throughout the school year, providing targeted support and interventions for children within a dynamic educational setting.
Role Details:
- Dates: August 17th, 2026 – June 11th, 2027
- Location: Within the Mill Valley area (specific school site to be determined)
- Schedule: Part-time, 1 day per week
- Caseload: Pending further details
What You’ll Bring:
- An active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of California
- Previous experience working as a school OT, especially within pediatric populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively partner with school staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and a commitment to fostering positive outcomes for diverse learners
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students per IEP requirements
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to students’ educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements
- Offer recommendations and resources for classroom modifications, adaptive tools, and strategies that enhance student success
